BSB 007 Payment Methods
Eleven ways to fund an account and six ways to get paid — with the limits, the timings and the reasons a transaction bounces.
Short version: BSB 007 takes PayID, BPAY, Neosurf, Visa and Mastercard debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, three e-wallets, plain bank transfer and crypto. Most deposits start at A$20 and land instantly, with no fee from the casino. Credit cards are gone — Australian law killed them off. Payouts go back to the same rail wherever that rail can receive money.

Bank rails: PayID, BPAY and plain transfer
If you bank in Australia, this is the group worth understanding first. Three very different things sit under the same "bank" heading at the BSB 007 cashier, and they behave nothing alike.
PayID
PayID rides the New Payments Platform, so money moves in seconds rather than overnight batches. You pick PayID in the cashier, get a payment reference, then push the transfer from your own banking app to the address shown. Minimum A$20, ceiling A$10,000 a day. Nothing is charged either end.
Two things trip people up. The first is that the PayID address rotates — copy a fresh one each time instead of saving it as a payee, or the transfer bounces back a day later. The second is that some banks now throw a gambling warning on NPP payments; that is your bank's own control, not a BSB 007 block, and it is covered further down under declines.
BPAY
BPAY is the slow, boring, reliable option. Biller code and reference number, paid from your banking app like a power bill. It clears in one to two business days, which makes it useless if you want to play tonight, and quite useful if you would rather not have an instant top-up button within reach. Minimum here is A$30, not A$20.
Direct bank transfer
The old-fashioned route. A$50 minimum in, up to A$50,000 a transaction, one to three business days on the way in and three to five on the way out. Most people only use it for larger sums, or because a payout has exceeded what a wallet will hold. Full timings sit on the withdrawal times page.
Worth knowing: Osko is not a separate method in the cashier. It is the fast-settlement service sitting on top of NPP, so when a PayID deposit lands in under a minute, that is Osko doing the work.
E-wallets at BSB 007
Three wallets are supported for both directions: MuchBetter, Jeton and Payz (the service that used to trade as ecoPayz). All three take A$20 minimum, hold up to A$15,000 a transaction, cost nothing at the casino end, and pay out inside 24 hours once a withdrawal clears review. That last part is why regular players end up here.
MuchBetter
Phone-number based, app-only, with a PIN on every payment. The fastest of the three in practice — most cashouts we have watched cleared in under six hours.
Jeton
Wide currency support and a low barrier to opening an account. Loading it from an Australian bank can take a day, so top it up before you need it.
Payz
Tiered accounts: the free tier is enough to deposit, but you need a verified tier before Payz will let a casino payout land.
Apple Pay and Google Pay sit in a different category despite looking like wallets. They are deposit-only, capped at A$5,000, and they are really just a tokenised version of the debit card already in your phone. Money cannot come back out to them. If you fund an account through Apple Pay, plan a second verified method for the payout before you win anything.
Neosurf belongs here loosely too. It is a prepaid voucher bought over the counter at a newsagent or servo, entered as a code, and it never touches your bank. Cash in, nothing out — Neosurf cannot receive a withdrawal, so pair it with a bank account you have verified.
Debit cards after the credit card ban
Visa and Mastercard debit both work: A$20 minimum, A$10,000 a transaction, instant in, one to three business days out. Card payouts follow the closed-loop rule, so BSB 007 refunds up to the amount you deposited on that card and routes anything above it to a bank account or wallet in your name.
Credit cards are a different story. Since mid-2024 it has been illegal for a wagering or casino operator to accept a credit card from an Australian customer, following the Interactive Gambling Amendment (Credit and Other Measures) Act. The cashier now reads the card's BIN and stops credit products before you finish typing. There is no workaround, and a prepaid card loaded from a credit line usually gets caught by the same check.
Debit cards issued by the big four are the ones most likely to hit a bank-side block rather than a casino-side one. CommBank, NAB, ANZ and Westpac all ship a gambling toggle in their apps, and on some accounts it defaults to on. Switching it off takes a moment; switching it back on can take 48 hours by design, which is deliberate and not something support can hurry along.
Why your BSB 007 payment was declined
A declined deposit almost never means the casino refused you. Work down this list in order — the fix is usually in the first two.
The card is a credit card
Most common cause by a wide margin. Look for the word DEBIT on the front. If it says CREDIT, the transaction will never go through, whatever your limit.
Your bank's gambling block is on
Search your banking app for "gambling" or "merchant blocks". The transaction fails silently at the bank, so the casino only sees a generic refusal and support cannot tell you why.
The name does not match
Third-party money is refused everywhere. A joint account is fine if you are a named holder; your partner's card in your account is not, and using one puts the balance at risk during verification.
You are under the minimum, or over the cap
A$19 fails. So does A$25 on BPAY, where the floor is A$30. See the minimum deposit page for the per-method floors.
Verification is still open
An account flagged for documents can deposit but not withdraw, and occasionally not deposit either. Clear the request first — the checklist lives on the withdrawal times page.
The site itself is having a moment
Rare, but it happens. If the cashier hangs on the loading spinner rather than returning an error, check the status page before trying a fourth time.
Do not retry more than twice. Three or four rapid attempts on the same card look like card testing to the issuer's fraud engine, and a temporary block on the card itself is a much bigger nuisance than a failed A$50 deposit.

How BSB 007 shows up on your bank statement
It does not say BSB 007. Casino deposits are settled through payment processors, and what appears on the statement is the processor's registered trading name plus a reference — a short word or acronym, then a run of digits. The descriptor also changes from time to time as the operator rotates acquirers, so the line you saw in March may not be the line you see in October.
This matters more than it sounds. People chase up "unrecognised" charges with their bank, the bank raises a chargeback, and the casino account gets frozen for a disputed transaction that was genuine all along. Before you dispute anything, cross-check the amount and the date against your transaction history in the cashier.
Two practical notes for Australian accounts. Some issuers still tag these payments with the gambling merchant category code even though the descriptor looks neutral, which is what triggers a block on an account with the gambling toggle enabled. And if you are applying for a mortgage, assume a broker reading three months of statements will identify them regardless of wording — descriptors are not camouflage.
Keep a record: the cashier holds a full transaction history with reference numbers. Screenshot it before disputing anything, because a frozen account cannot be opened to check.
Mistakes that cost Australian players time
Depositing with a method that cannot pay out
Neosurf, BPAY, Apple Pay and Google Pay are one-way streets. Nothing wrong with them for a top-up, but sort out a payout method on day one instead of during the wait for a win.
Leaving verification until the first withdrawal
Documents can be uploaded the day you register. Doing it then turns a three-day first payout into a one-day one.
Saving the PayID address as a payee
The reference rotates. A saved payee sends money into a dead reference, and getting it back means a support ticket and a few days.
Forgetting the bonus checkbox
A bonus cannot be attached to a deposit that has already gone through. Tick it before confirming, or you have simply made a plain deposit.
Cancelling a pending withdrawal
The cancel button reverses the money into your playable balance. It is there for genuine mistakes, and it is the single most expensive button in the cashier.
Using a mate's card
Third-party funding breaches the terms at every licensed operator. It is the fastest way to have a balance held while an investigation runs.
What changed at the BSB 007 cashier
Payment pages age badly. Here is what is different now compared with what older guides still describe.
| Area | Before | Now |
|---|---|---|
| Credit cards | Accepted like any other card | Blocked at BIN level — prohibited nationally |
| Fast bank rail | POLi bank redirect | PayID over NPP, pushed from your own app |
| Verification | Requested at first withdrawal | Prompted at registration, before you deposit |
| Withdrawal minimum | A$50 across the board | A$20 on everything but bank transfer |
| ecoPayz | Listed under the old name | Rebranded as Payz — same account, same login |
| Cashier layout | Separate deposit and withdraw pages | One screen with a toggle and live limits |
BSB 007 payment methods FAQ
What payment methods does BSB 007 accept in Australia?
PayID, BPAY, Neosurf, Visa and Mastercard debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, MuchBetter, Jeton, Payz, direct bank transfer and the main cryptocurrencies. Credit cards are not accepted for Australian accounts.
Does BSB 007 charge a fee on deposits?
No. BSB 007 adds nothing to a deposit or a withdrawal. Charges you see come from the other side — a Neosurf voucher surcharge at the newsagent, or a blockchain network fee on crypto.
Can I use a credit card at BSB 007?
No. Australian law has prohibited credit cards for online gambling since mid-2024, and the BSB 007 cashier rejects credit BINs outright. Debit cards on the same networks still work.
What is the minimum deposit at BSB 007?
A$20 on most methods. BPAY starts at A$30 and a plain bank transfer at A$50.
How does BSB 007 appear on a bank statement?
Not as "BSB 007". Payments show under the processor's trading name with a reference code, usually something neutral followed by a string of digits.
Can I deposit with one method and withdraw to another?
Only when the deposit rail cannot receive money. BSB 007 returns funds to the source first — closed-loop rules — then pays any remainder to a verified bank account or e-wallet in your own name.
